In een meta-analyse worden resultaten van studies samengevoegd om tot een meer betrouwbare uitspraak te komen.
Voor vragen over het uitvoeren van een meta-analyse verwijzen wij naar het Dutch Cochrane Centre.

- MetaAnalyst Windows-gebaseerd programma voor het uitvoeren van meta-analyse. Zeer gebruiksvriendelijke interface. Let wel: enkele methodes zijn nog in testfase (zie tab 'features'). Voor installatie is 1 extra stap nodig:
"The operating system, being European, wants to use commas instead of decimals. It will have trouble parsing the conf file. Please go to the MetaAnalyst directory (e.g., C:\Program Files\MetaAnalyst) and open the file "ma.conf" in any text editor (e.g., notepad). Where it now reads: "ci = .95" change it to: "ci = ,95". Save the file as ma.conf and it will work."
